Agents run.
One hop away.
AgentHop isn’t another agent, and it doesn’t wrap one. Claude Code and Codex keep running in your own terminals and apps, exactly as they are. AgentHop is the jump host between you and all of them, so you can run more at once and still land on the one that needs you.
For macOS 13 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel.
A Mac screen with Claude Code in iTerm2, Codex in Ghostty, Claude Code in VS Code and the Codex app. When Codex needs approval the notch turns amber, expands to show the command, the request is allowed from the notch, and a shortcut brings the Ghostty window forward.
One of you.
All of your agents.
AgentHop stands between you and your agents and does one job: it watches every session and takes you to the one that needs you. The agents themselves stay exactly as they are.

- Not another agent.Claude Code is still Claude Code: the same CLI, the same flags, new versions on day one.
- Not a wrapper.Nothing sits between you and your sessions, and there’s no new chat window to learn. Your terminal tab is still where the work happens.
- A jump host. One place that knows every session, and one shortcut to land in the one that needs you.
Works with what you already use

Features
See everything at a glance
The notch counts what’s waiting for you, what’s running and what just finished. Beside it sits the one session that matters most right now.
Answer without switching
Permission requests, questions and plans open right under the notch. Read the exact command or diff, then allow, deny or answer. Each kind of event has its own sound, so you know what happened without looking.
One shortcut back
Press your shortcut to land in the session that has waited longest: the original iTerm2 tab, the tmux pane, the editor window, the Codex thread. Press again for the next one.
- Start a task from anywhereDescribe it, pick a project, choose Claude Code or Codex. AgentHop opens it where you like to work.
- Keep the conversation goingRead the latest messages and send a follow-up from the notch.
- Seven days of sessionsBrowse by day, filter by agent, resume with one click.
- Shortcuts for any appGive everyday apps a global shortcut: it opens the app if it’s closed and brings it forward if it’s open.

Questions
Do I need to change my setup?
No. On first launch AgentHop walks you through the macOS permissions it needs and adds its hooks to Claude Code and Codex. It only touches entries it marks as its own, backs up your files first, and removes everything if you turn hooks off.
Does my code or conversation leave my Mac?
No. AgentHop reads the session records already on your Mac and sends none of them anywhere. It goes online for two things only: a daily update check, and confirming your Pro license. Optional AI features talk directly to the model endpoint you configure.
Will it ever approve something on its own?
Never. Requests are approved only when you click Allow or press its shortcut, and AgentHop has no option to skip permissions.
Which agents and apps are supported?
Claude Code and Codex fully, including approvals and questions. Gemini CLI and Cursor show live status. AgentHop jumps back to iTerm2, Terminal, Ghostty, kitty, WezTerm, tmux, VS Code, VS Code Insiders, Cursor, Windsurf, VSCodium and the Codex app.
My Mac has no notch. Does it still work?
Yes. Without a notch, the island sits at the top center of the screen, and you can choose which display it lives on.
How do I move Pro to a new Mac?
A license works on one Mac, or two if you bought the 2-Mac license. To move it, choose Deactivate This Mac under Settings, Pro on the old Mac, then activate on the new one.
